Great Low Light Mppt

The overall experience is great with this Mppt.
Even at low light the Mppt is capable of getting as low as 1 Watt on my 36V 200W solar panel .
However when it tries to get power from the panel and the voltage drops below 5V it stoppes (as described on the datasheet).
However it can take some time before trying to pull some more power from the panel.
Between this time i can see the voltage of my solar panel statying at 30V and i feel like the sweet spot for this use case is not really there.
It will try to pull on the pannel maybe 1 minute later, it will be able for a few seconds to get some watts and then the voltage will drop below 5V and it will stop.

i feel like the algorythm coul somehow detecte this and maybe try more frequently to pull on the panel?
Sometimes i've got some light on the pannel and the mppt is still waiting to pull on the panel. When that happens i believe the mppt is not monotoring the voltage on the pannel, but is more just waiting a fixed amount of time before trying again.

All those dead times i feel like we could get some extra watts that are lost because the mppt is just waiting to get a sustainable 1W power from the panel.

I don't quite know the technical details on the internals of this mppt but this is my feeling.

This said it's a great product that's why i put a 5 Star rating.

Arrived ahead of time. Well packed, good instructions. Can you tell me how much power the status led uses.
It seems a shame to be rapidly flashing when there is only low PV current available . Other than that, great!

Finally sun came out from clouds

Have been waiting for sun to appear to test new GV-5 Lithium solar charger. Seems to work fine to charge my 6 Ah LiFePO4 battery, not even 100% clear sky. Will do more testing on the field with my ham radio gear later.
